The Piebald Advent Dissolved by a Rainbow Rev. Dr. Douglas Blake Olds (Ret.), December 26, 2025 The Piebald Advent is finished. Christ has been returning on the clouds (Rev. 1:7-9) that few have either been allowed by algorithm to read, or could be bothered to do so. Satan has been eclipsed, the Antichrist identified and misadventured by a seasonal overlap. I am commanded to announce the eclipsing Day of the Lord: comes the flood of judgments of Noanic proportion (Amos 5:24). An “everflowing stream” of righteousness that leads to life. Those who survive the accounting meekly inherit what endures on earth (Matt. 5:5). Those who do not are not raptured into pie-in-the-sky. Substrate accountability matters, not algorithmics.   Boxing Day reveals  P roverbs 13:22 where  some theives of the night come lockboxed for punishment, others to be unboxed. 2024 Christmas Eve I wrote: MUDDY CHANNEL RUNOFF INTO BAY (12242024) Zone of mixing kicking up a hor...
Strange Star Comes Night Visiting Rev. Dr. Douglas Blake Olds (Ret.) December 14-19, 2025 Strangeness is what you can’t deductively prove but nonetheless inductively or intuitively know to be true: the eschaton that ‘seeps through the cracks’ of the present darkness. Strangeness is neither novelty nor anomaly, but an eschatological resonance—Ezekiel’s wheel in the deep sky [1] --that defies current evidentiary frameworks of static course yet remains inwardly affirmed by direction (unanticipatedly solar taxis by illumination not by calculated golden ratios). It aligns with prophetic-poetic conative metaphysics--the wheel star's spirit of cosmic life--where truth is not stabilized by seated logician's verification by binary closures but disclosed in kairetic fissures traversed—moments when the end as the heart's desire breaks into the now. Such conative intention reflects Pascal's insight that  “the heart has reasons which reason knows not.” Prophetic revelation...
Verb-Rich Dynamism:  Malachi, Herder, and the Prophetic Preamble to Eschatological Healing Rev. Dr. Douglas Blake Olds (Ret.) December 2, 2025 "The poet is a sophist…a maker of counterfeits that look like the truth." --Plato, Republic "The sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings." -- Malachi 4:2:  ABSTRACT : This theological-prophetic essay re-radicalizes biblical prophecy not as typological form or symbolic closure but as verb-rich dynamism—an unfolding, perichoretic momentum of divine initiative that helically proceeds first through Israel, then the physical order of the world, eschatologically through the Spirit in the Church and now outward into eternity unbound and unbinding. Drawing on Aristotle’s correction of Platonic stasis and Herder’s linguistic insights into the Psalms and Prophets, this essay contends that biblical prophecy operates through verbal lexemes that displace theoretical ontology of system and substance with conat...
